Re: Fountain Drinks

Want to know why this is happening and why it is acceptable because it's not their fault. THEY ARE EXPERIENCING HUGE ATTENDANCE INCREASE THIS SEASON AND HUGE COMPS ON SALES. Give them a break aha :p No. It's not acceptable. At all. To completely and utterly fail at forecasting inventory needs and t...

Re: Project 2016!

Cedar Point also has newly planted, lush green grass growing on the other side of the coaster countdown with no construction going on whatsoever.

Re: Cedar Point Road Trip

teenage, do you have a Wonderland season pass? It may actually be worth your while to upgrade to a Platinum Pass before your trip. When you factor in our crappy exchange rate, credit card conversion fees, "convenience fees" for online tickets, and parking fees, it may actually be easier an...

Re: Cedar Point Road Trip

The way the ticket info reads, it is valid for one day at Cedar Point and one day at Soak City. You can't use it for two days at Cedar Point. For $90, that's not even a good deal. Buying both tickets separately online only costs $85... However, for specific information like that regarding park polic...

Re: Project 2016!

Watch you'll see an announcement will be made soon as someone else said pertaining to Minebuster being shut down and either I-boxed/ Iron horsed or replaced by Ziz in 2017. (again just rumor) It seems like you don't know the difference between a rumor and something you dreamed up in your imaginatio...

Re: Drones over Canada's Wonderland

Did the park just update their FAQs to include their drone policy? Canada's Wonderland Drone Policy All drones (Unmanned Aerial Systems) are prohibited at (in) all Cedar Fair parks, including Canada's Wonderland, and any unauthorized drone(s) observed over Canada's Wonderland will be reported to Tra...

Re: Cedar Point Road Trip

If you're coming from Canada's Wonderland, Michigan's Adventure and La Ronde aren't really "on the way" to Cedar Point. They're both in the opposite direction and that's a lot of time wasted spent traveling. If you're set on visiting La Ronde, perhaps do it as part of a separate Montreal t...

Re: Wonder Mountain's Guardian - New for 2014!

I've been more vocal than many in my criticism of the ride... But if you pay for a Ford Focus, don't complain that it's not a Ferrari 458... Do I wish they spent more??? Yes... But it looks like we got the ride experience that $10 million buys... I just don't buy that as an excuse. The interior of ...

Whether or not the park is open this week, they'd want to get the train off the track as soon as possible. I do believe if the train sits too long the wheels will develop flat spots.

Re: New For 2015

In my experience I've never had to wait that long to get past the toll booths wonder why there was a need to put more up.

Because on busy summer days the lineup of cars would frequently be backed up onto Canada's Wonderland Drive. They simply didn't have the capacity to effectively handle crowds.

Re: New For 2015

Not necessarily. It's a large open area, so putting up a tall construction fence around it would be excessively costly. In fact, tall construction fences that block the view of the work being done are not always necessary nor are they always used. For an example, see Diamondback's construction.
