Since my last visit on June 22nd and today, this water fountain has appeared in the center of Vortex's helix. It is a very nice touch of scenery and a very nice visual while riding Vortex as well! 8)

They need to put LED lights on it for night time, and sync them to Starlight Spectacular!

There is a good reason why Vortex is among the best terrain roller coasters in the world (especially for chain theme parks).

Has anyone else noticed the roaming performers in the park? I've seen a jester on stilts walking through Medieval Faire a few times, a banjo-player in overalls and a straw-hat playing little ditties around KidZville and White Water Canyon, and just the other day I saw a hockey player along International Street complete with gloves, helmet, stick, and a license-free blue jersey matching a particular local team! ;)

I honestly think this is a great way to enhance the atmosphere of the park; simple but effective! They're just there to interact with guests, possibly pose for pictures, that sort of thing! Basic, non-intrusive atmospheric entertainment!
