Also he/ she is right rumor has it we should hear something very shortly pertaining to future addition. I'm not sure ifs pertaining to 2016 or 2017 but I did hear some information should be made available soon. (again this is a rumor)

I have a mangina.
But its just a wild guess that something might get leaked like track at the ohio plant or something being transported o a truck. As for the markers all over the place it could be support columns in the woods. I think its really hard to figure out whats going on from markers so its still really a coin toss.

* is coming to the park next year. The dirt in Skyrider's spot is seeded with grass (not sod) - which kind of implies that it's going to stay a grassy field for a very long time.
I've ridden 451 different coasters around the world.

You went from "just wait and see, a coaster is coming next year", to "just wait and see, nothing is coming next year", pretty fast...

Confused... Is there grass in the area or not? Also, any word on the dirt being moved behind minebuster?

no grass, and all construction equipment is gone and not being used. Orange markers behind minebuster mark the path of the road under the dirt. no fencing, no preparing for future enjoyment, and no electrical work being installed for future station

^Still wondering what's going on. I have a feeling they're preparing for something. Like others have said, the skyrider area doesn't necessarily have to be used for a station (it could very well be used for a turnaround or element (similar to leviathan's turnaround near the gate).

Doesn't make sense to me why they'd remove skyrider (and state in the press release a new attraction's eventually going to take its place.), do all that work behind minebuster, and bring in some fairly large construction equipment (ie. Pieces of cranes) if we weren't getting a coaster, at least getting some kind of flat ride/midway expansion in the near future.

no pieces of cranes were ever confirmed just a few pieces of some counter weights, and they have no completely vanished with the rest of the equipment. I will say this since I do agree I've been a bit negative. For those still holding onto hope Gatekeeper didn't have vertical construction till November and any construction start till around September ;)

Can't speak for anyone else, but I know my high hopes were for this thing being bigger than a Gatekeeper.

Could be considering speculation says it's going to be launched so they don't need to put together a massive lift hill. Rumor is it's going to be long.

Just thinking, what if the counterweights were from Typhoon construction?

I've been thinking of this for a while now. What if the foundations have already been poured over the winter, hence the quick removal of SkyRider, and perhaps this is why we see dirt areas with no grass. Perhaps these areas have already been dug up and the foundations recovered with dirt until they are ready to add supports, perhaps later in the season. What do you all think? Could this be possible?

After seeing the coaster countdown at cedar point, I think they are getting the big addition this year and we will get one next year. This is or course pure speculation on my end.
Haunt is gone.
Behemoth Ride Count: 89
Leviathan Ride Count: 8
