What is a Behemoth?

Post by moneyhead64 » 08 Jul 2008, 15:58

What exactly is a behemoth? I read somewhere online that Sulley from Disney/Pixar's Monsters Inc. is a behemoth, but i don't know if that's true. :?

I agree, it makes perfect sense, I wonder why the name hypercoasters with weird names that people havn't even heard before.

I believe that is true, and a Behemoth is a generally large object.

Yes, you could use it like so:
Wow, that building is huge, its behemoth!

I always pictured a hunched over, bi-pedal furry monster with horns...

Then again, isn't that what is on the t-shirts and such? I think I might be brainwashed...

I have a Behemoth T-shirt, which is indeed a hunched-over, bipedal furry monster with horns with orange skin.

I wish we got that pokemon license that people were speculating about in 2007 so they could have themed leviathan and behemoth to Kyogre and Groundon and then when we get Ziz it could have been called Rayquaza as Rayquaza is the guardian of the sky which stops Kyogre and Groundons battle. This part of pokemon lore is obviously inspired by the Behemoth, Leviathan and Ziz story. But I wish the park would have opted for the pokemon route.

I'm much happier with our mythical creature theming.
